The 6th Annual Conference was held at the new premises of the Christian Centre “Word of Life”, in Osijek. It is difficult to describe what went on there, and how tremendously blessed we were. Here comes a brief overview…
On Friday, November 5, Pastor Marica Tutić opened the conference with words of encouragement. She spoke about Jesus, who is alive and with us, and our faith was strengthened. At the next service, Petar Fabijanić was the speaker and the Holy Spirit took over the service. We were worshipping and enjoying His presence throughout the whole service. God was encouraging us and leading us into deeper worship.
On Saturday, November 6, Petar Fabijanić was telling us how we should carry each others burdens. He told the Bible story how Simon of Cyrene helped carry Jesus’ cross and thus, not knowingly, played a part in the salvation of the whole mankind. Danijel Fištrek also spoke about the Good News of the Kingdom. What is essential is that there is no Kingdome without the King, no Church without the Holy Spirit, no Christianity without love, and no Word without power. It is of utmost importance to keep a close relationship with the Lord!
On Sunday, November 7, Slavko Tutić preached about a battle and a race of life which we run, and he pointed out how important it is to run the good race. Also, he read what the Lord has spoken to him about real discipleship (you can find the article on the web page of “Word of Life”). Danijel Fištrek ended the conference preaching about the Holy Spirit, how we should get to know His character. God used Fištrek, and people were healed and delivered, and some were saved. God worked mightily in people’s hearts and His presence was powerful among us.
Besides all that, some people testified on how Jesus has changed their lives, we heard beautiful worship of youth group from “Word of Life”, Osijek, and many other interesting things happened. There was a true atmosphere of love, joy and fellowship among us. The Lord spoke to us several times saying that what is really important is our relationship with Him, and that everything we do should be in cooperation with His Holy Spirit.

„It was great to see the new premises and new people in Osijek. You are doing a wonderful job, together with your pastors. Services were aimed at fortifying the church and the Holy Spirit moved in different ways. In the end Holy Spirit was poured out and deeply touched and changed people. That is something difficult to put in words, something you have to experience. Also, it is difficult to draw big conclusions now, but one thing I know for certain – we were touched by Christ. “ (Danijel Fištrek)

“I am already eight years a part of this church, and I have attended all the conferences, but this one was really special. God has confirmed so many things to me because I received a personal prophecy. God has exhorted, comforted, edified and encouraged me. At the last service on Sunday, God has met me in such a powerful way that I fell down to the ground and was unable to get up (such thing has never happened to me before) and delivered me from the spirit of bitterness…“ (Damir K.)

„During my life I have cried only when I was really sad. I would hide myself somewhere so that no one could see me. It never even crossed my mind that it is possible to cry for joy, but during the conference I realized that I was definitely wrong, and I cried in front of everyone, and that was the sweetest cry in my life. “I am generally not a person who after each situation easily speaks about anointing and God’s presence, but this time it was really different. It wasn’t just a regular yearly conference; instead what happened is what we had always been talking about, waiting and hoping that it would one day be manifested in Croatia. I came back to Zagreb, and now I am telling everyone: “There is something special going on in Osijek!” (Ivona Š.)
“We are grateful to the Lord for all that He has done for us, and is still doing among us. This was a conference organized in the shortest possible time (moving – changing the Church’s premise). We have proved that together we can do everything in the One who gives us strength. But, the conference hadn’t started as expected. We felt a certain resistance and pressure in the spirit. However, on Friday, when pastor Pero ministered to us, I believe that everything changed, i.e. the heavens opened. I would say (and I believe that Pero would agree with me) that this service was led solely by the Holy Spirit. The Lord has led us into the victorious warlike worship. And it was wonderful to see the unity, how we all fit together and act as the perfectly trained team. The Holy Spirit took over the control till the end, and we saw how He did things the way He wanted. The title of the conference was “Let Your Kingdom Come”, and our expectations about this were fully met, because we could truly see the Kingdom at work. I believe this conference was a turning point. Some, who had been occasionally attending our church for many years, now came and said: “Now I am certain and I have decided – I know this is the right place.” Glory to God! This conference sent a message to the world, but also to the powers of darkness: “There are people different from others and you can seriously count on them.” Encouraged, we are headed for new victories for our Lord, grateful for all those who participated and helped us succeed. And there were many of them! Let the Lord bless them abundantly with all the blessings in Christ! (Pastor Slavko Tutić)
