After their visit to Dubrovnik and spreading the Word of God in that city, the team from Cornerstone Christian Center from Chicago spend the 17th and the 18th of April in Split. We welcomed them with open hearts, and ready to spread the Kingdom of God together in our city. We danced a lot, played rap music, did puppet shows (Muppets) and told testimonies on what God has done to our citizens and passers by.
The people were curiously listening, watching and asking what gave us, the members of The Word of Life in Split, the ability to talk about our Lord, and to invite them to our service with such passion. Apostle Greg preached at our services both days, giving us even more encouragement, and reminding us about the importance of belonging to the local church and spreading the Good News.
The Word of God tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. It doesn’t matter which country we come from, or what we look like, but the light of God that is inside us, unites us to worship and praise the name of Jesus in harmony. The desire to spread the Kingdom of God brought the team from Chicago to us, and that same desire opened our hearts to join them, and to pray and evangelize people in Split together.
The Word of God tells us: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:16-17) The Lord brings us together, and we are one in Him. Different people, but the same calling and the same Spirit.
We thank God for that privilege and for being able to invite other people to meet Him and join the Kingdom of God. Halleluiah!
