On the 29th and 30th of January we had a seminar for pastors and other leaders and servants in our Church The Word of Life, named “Effective Leadership”.
The aim and purpose of the seminar was to train leaders in more effective serving in their local Churches, with special attention to growth and development of services within local communities.
Pastor Damir Šićko-Alić, president of the alliance of Churches The Word of Life, taught about life and practical faith, as foundations for Christian living of individuals and Churches. From his own rich experience he shared testimonies related to Church growth in faith, and testimonies of his own walk in faith. During his second lecture, pastor Damir Šićko-Alić explained the importance of apostolic leadership in local Churches, and the importance of understanding different services with the goal of expansion of local Churches.
Đurđica Mostarčić, director and the owner of the bookkeeping and tax advisory company “Dudy speed” talked about the importance of abiding to the existing laws and regulations, and transparent financial records. She said that money is never a problem for God, as long as the Church is truly responsible and doing “its part”. should.
Pastor Mario Dučić, president of the Croatian Christian Coalition, wrapped up the seminar with the lecture about the vision which can keep us alive and full of energy, even in times of temptation.
