On Thursday, 15th of May, we had a promotion of the 14th generation of students of Bible school of the Christian Centre “The Word of Life”, Zagreb. This generation was special because this was the first time that we had more students from other towns, than from Zagreb. The lecturers were well-trained teachers from “The Word of Life”, and three of them were from other countries: Germany, England and USA.
A bit longer than three months, 28 of them were determined to come from various destinations, towns and positions in which they spent first part of their day in order to come to the school at 6:00 pm. They had 19 different subjects, out of which in 16 their success was valued on the scale from 1 to 5.
I think that God had seen their willingness to stand close to Him, so that He can equip them, teach and send them. Just as Jesus prayed: “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. “
The spiritual protection, which was manifested in the visible area, was guaranteed, because He is a sovereign God who knows His people by their names, and He was there to encourage each one of them, protect them and bring them to the higher level of responsibility, so they can be the salt and the light, here where they are sawn.
I believe that one of the purposes of the Bible school is to show us that in each of us there are two worlds: one, which we came out of and the other into which we are entering. The first one needs to be completely rooted out, and the second one fully embraced. This second one, although it seems to continually show us our imperfections, is also quick to offer the solution and new freedom from bondage and fear, to the unwise – wisdom and knowledge so we do not perish, knowledge – as waters are filling the sees…
You, who may be a candidate for the next year, do not be discouraged: sometimes it only seems hard, but how can someone who has within himself victory in all battles, the beauty of the Creator, promises of blessings when he enters and when he leaves, how can such a person lose. On this path we are all learning how to mature and renew our minds, because God’s thoughts about us are wonderful. Be courageous in His presence and let Him cleans you and touch you so that you can understand that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard – what God has prepared for you”.
