Empty seats were difficult to get on this year’s conference. Loud worship extended to heaven and came back down in God’s presence almost palpable to many. The Word of God was so fresh, new, mind-changing. We were visited again by God’s servants Greg Howse and David Youngren, and for the first time by Muyiwa, a British singer who lit the church in desire for God in an after-service worship. Worship in this year’s conference exceeded all expectations. As if new instruments and voices joined in. Worship of God has led us in surrender to Him over and over again.
Church hall was too small. Even the benches brought in from the children’s area were filled in the back of the hall. It says it all.
Twenty years of service could not go un-marked. Glory be to God for the work He does through His servants.
Through David Youngren, and his inspired and dynamic sermons, God has attracted all present to Himself. It took him long enough to realize just how much God loves him – he shared this personal revelation with us.
David paid special attention in prayer for the young generation, that will win battles for Christ, as was prophesied.
Greg Howse has also preached and prayed, especially for the young. For a long time now, his heart has been beating for the works of God in Croatia, and is not about to quit.
Surprise of the conference was a concert of Muyiwa & Riversongz. The mix of native American singing and Gospel in the song “Hey Ya!” has shook the church on their feet. A few songs from Muyiwa’s latest album have already been translated to Croatian, and were sung in worship the following few days.
